movies

I recently saw ANNE MARIE (1936)
written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
He even wrote in a plug for The Little Prince,
out there in the meadow talking to a girl.
Though so very different from a Hollywood movie,
this made me recall those Cary Grant airplane
movies WINGS IN THE DARK (1935) and
ONLY ANGELS HAVE WINGS(1939).
There’s also James Stewart’s MADE FOR
EACH OTHER (1939) airplane ending.
Also just watched a movie I haven’t seen for
many moons ON OUR MERRY WAY (1948).
I wanted to see that crazy scene with
Henry Fonda playing trumpet in a boat
underneath the Clam City Pier.
